ABOUT
'Agroforestry' is mixing crops and livestock with trees and shrubs to improve soil health, enhance production, offer new market opportunities for local farm and forest products, and foster land stewardship, resilience, and sustainability.
Tioga County and the Endless Mountains Resource Conservation & Development Council are partnering with local farmers, woodland owners, and entrepreneurs, as well as local, state and federal agencies, and universities. We want to build a network of people in Tioga County and the surrounding area who are interested in agroforestry practices and products.
We are planning a series of agroforestry workshops, farm visits, and networking events in 2019 and 2020. We hope you'll join us!
